I am so enjoying making more crochet flowers and lace trims to use on my scrapbook layouts (& maybe on cards too).
I have been getting my patterns from these books...

Beyond the Square Crochet Motifs by Edie Eckman
Yep, there's something good about holding a hook and making up a flower or trim. Satisfaction guaranteed!

Those are really beautiful! I have a hard time with thread, as I can't finish it off well without it coming apart. Seems more slippery? What am I doing wrong? (((((HUGS))))) sandi

There is another crochet edging book you may want to try out: "Around the Corner: Crochet Borders" by Edie Eckman. : )
