Husb & I went out together on Friday & had Sushi for the first time. We'd seen the place many times on the way into Selfridges in Birmingham and I really wanted to try some.
It's a really fun experience watching the little conveyor belt constantly moving past and eyeing all the little coloured plates & their contents. We ordered a hot choice too, but mostly chose from the belt. I really enjoyed the food, although the salmon was cut a bit thick for my liking (see below)and the raw squid was rubbery, but all in all I'd go again & we had such a laugh.
This is our second week back & it does seem quiet without Roman. He had his first lot of homework today and has settled down to doing it straight away. The other three are getting through piles of work, probably due to the fact they've usually had their breakfast and done their chores by 8am so have an early start on their work. I'm keen on this 'no messing' approach :)
