I have been a subscriber to a scrapbook kit club here at Sarah's Cards webshop since Autumn 2009 and I always look forward to the pizza box of stash being delivered once a month. Well, over on the Sarah's Cards blog they have a Sketch Challenge with the prize of a £10 e-voucher and the opportunity to join the design team creating an example layout for their August challenge. Here's my LO using the Sarah's Cards May kit (Fancy Pants Roadshow) and my own crochet flower & trim...
... and a couple of close-ups...
This was the sketch & it was a fun one!
The colours in the May kit were perfect for M & J's Wedding last Summer and the American Crafts Thickers were a fab font for the title. The circle word-art "memories" I used in the layout is my own free PDF download (see left sidebar) and the flower is a free PDF downloadable Pattern too (check out left side-bar).
So... now I'm going to leave a comment on their blog & link this page to the challenge page and wait to see what happens ;)
