I am so excited to begin this month long online class with Shimelle. The format is up to the individual & I've seen allsorts of ideas on the class forum for what folks will be doing... different sized albums, Art journalling, blogging, index cards, totally digi or some folks will upload to those photo sites that make hardbacked books. Wow. So I have decided on a loose-leaf folder I've had for ages, with a 'hybrid' approach (mixed digi & paper scrapping with embellishments). The pages are loose so I can get them through my sewing machine and are 8 x 6 in size. Also I decided I didn't want page protectors because I want to feel the textures on the pages (more like a mini book).
I've made a pile of digital templates which may be what I use. Shimelle is producing 6 x 4 templates too so once I get a feel for those I may incorporate them too. It's all very 'open' at the moment.
Help yourself to free downloads of my 6 x 8 digital templates ... they are layered PSE downloads where each layer could be a photo, or digi patterned paper or a journalling box, or go the hybrid route and simply glue pp and embellishments over part of the page once printed out. It's flexible!
As you can see I got carried away! I hope they come in handy for someone :)
