Today is the 1st of May, so I named my flower design 'May Day'.
I used variegated blue & white cotton thread (I think it's size 10 but am not positive because it was in a bag of scraps that my Gran gave me.) I used a USA size 10 hook (1.25mm metal hook ) and all the abbreviations are USA terms. There are two special abbreviations...
2tr bobble (2 triple crochet bobble) = leaving last loop of each on hook, work 2tr into ring, yo, pull through all 3 loops on hook.
3tr bobble (3 triple crochet bobble) = leaving last loop of each on hook, work 3tr into ring, yo, pull through all 4 loops on hook.
'May Day' Pattern...
Starting Ring:
Do 10 chain and join with sl,st.Round 1:
4 ch, 2tr bobble in ring. [6 ch, 3tr bobble into ring] x7. 6 chain, sl, st to top of 1st bobble.Round 2:
[1sc, 1hdc, 2dc, 2tr, 2dc, 1hdc, 1sc into chain space below] x8. sl, st into1st sc of the round. Cast off.This pattern will be been posted with UK terms on 2nd May over on It's a Creative World .
