I had this photo ready to scrap since last Summer, when I was practising panning with my camera and a fast moving object. I was so pleased (at the time) with how it turned out that I had it printed up on Shutterfly as an A4 print. So pleased to get the photo scrapped :)
Almost all the product was from an American Crafts kit called TRAVEL. I used a 2" square punch and the embellies from the kit. This was a super quick LO but I still like how it turned out.
Here's Shimelle's sketch...
A bit flipped because of the way the bike was moving R to L.
Beautiful shot - very nicely scrapped.

WOW, three years and you are still blogging! I don't know how long my attention will hold. LOL
When I first saw these AC papers they didn't appeal to me at all, but you have made them work really nicely with your photo.
Great photo :-)

Congratulations, I saw that your layout was listed in the favourites this week. Well done. I hope you do get a chance to try out this weeks sketch.
A friend and I would love to learn to crochet. Do you happen to know of any good instructional videos for free on the net? Not knowing how to do it makes it hard to know if the instructions being given are right! LOL Unless of course you happen to have the time to make one ... ?

Chipper,
I've taught several folks to crochet IRL, by sitting next to them on the settee and encouraging and helping with mistakes etc. I've thought of making 'you tube' videos and would love to but only have an old camcorder and don't know where to start. I was taught by my lovely Gran, Daisy, who's 84 now and still knits or crochets everyday. She showed me a way to hold the hook that I've never seen taught in any book. It's awkward at first but soon becomes natural. The main thing that beginners don't usually do is hold the yarn taut in the left hand.... If it's floppy then it's impossible to crochet. Thanks for visiting my blog :)

So nice to see a blog, Mandy... I regularly check in to see what you're up to and how you are. Hope all is good your side of town! Left you an email for your birthday, but didn't have a reply, so wasn't sure if you were out of town... that's while ago now ;-)
Sending you all loads of love, and the layout is gorgeous, by the way...

Mandy, found your blog from Julies. Glad I did. Love your doilies and flowers. Always looking for those little touches to use on my altered books and scrap book pages. I will have to try making my own from your patterns. Glad you share your ideas.

Saw you post on blog comments on Julie Balzer's blog- I think I know how you feel as sometimes I get lots of hits and zero comments. My blog tends to be conversational so I have a few regulars who are great at leaving tracks. The crochet patterns below are gorgeous! Love the AC page as well- I have that kit but you really used it well- mine is just sitting there.
